Google Drive launched today

My initial impressions:

  • No direct download links (+1 for DropBox)
  • Easier to “Get Link” in DropBox
  • Can’t sync a folder on my tablet to it (need to use FolderSync - but be careful when you do) (+1 to SugarSync)
  • Cheap(ish) (If DropBox had cheaper prices it would make the decision harder)
After a few days
  • It’s OK. Do miss some features from DropBox
  • Would like to see FolderSync keeping up with this.
  • Would like to see some improvements and ideas taken from both DropBox and SugarSync

But enough for me to make the switch? Not just yet. How about you?

Office -> Google Docs?

I’ve been considering for a while now to switch from Microsoft Office 2010 to Google Docs.

As you all probably know, I’ll all for cloud storage. But is it too early to ditch Office? Thoughts?
